Abstract

The Heart Coronary Disease is a heart disease which is caused by a constriction of artery coronaria as the concequence of the atherosclerotic process or spasme even the combination of both. There are same risk factors of the heart coronary disease namely nutrient status and food consumption. This research aims to know the relationship of nutrition status and soybean consumption as well as the processing result with HDL and LDL amount toward the heart coronary disease at Puskesmas Patrang Jember. This research used cross sectional approach with purposive sampling method. This research was held in September 2016. The data collection used questionnaire about the anthropometry measurement as well as checking the HDL and LDL amount. The result of this analysis used spearman correlation test, the relationship of nutrition status with HDL amount was found p=0,026 (p<0,05), it showed that there was significant relationship between both variables. The relationship of nutrition status with LDL amount was found p=0,33 (p<0,05), it showed that there was significant relationship between both variables. The relationship of soybean consumption as well as the processing result with HDL was found p=0,012 (p<0,05), it showed that there was significant relationship between both variables. The relationship of soybean consumption as well as the processing result with LDL was found p=0,000 (p<0,05), it showed that there was significant relationship between both variables.
