Abstract
Tobacco production can be affected by the selection of low-quality seeds. The selection of tobacco seeds plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and standard of tobacco cultivation. Therefore, the problem can be formulated as to whether the application of organic goat urine fertilizer has an effect on the growth of Voor-oogst (Nicotiana tabacum L) kasturi tobacco seeds.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving goat urine organic fertilizer on the growth of Voor-oogst kasturi tobacco seedlings (Nicotiana tabacum L). The study was conducted from October 2024 to January 2025 at the Jember State Polytechnic research field. The experimental design used in this study was RAK (Randomized Block Design) Non-Factorial using 1 factor, Treatment namely the concentration of goat urine organic fertilizer with concentration, (P0) without treatment, concentration (P1) Concentration of 100 ml goat urine + 900 ml water, (P2) Concentration of 200 ml goat urine + 800 ml water, (P3) Concentration of 300 ml goat urine + 700 ml water. Observation parameters in the study included plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, wet weight, dry weight. The results of the treatment study concluded that the effect of giving goat urine organic fertilizer had a significant effect on the growth of plant height, stem diameter, wet weight and dry weight at the age of 35 HST and had no significant effect on the number of leaves
