Abstract

ABSTRAK Gagal ginjal kronik (GGK) merupakan salah satu penyakit degeneratif yang prevalensinya terus meningkat dan menimbulkan beban kesehatan yang besar. Pasien GGK yang menjalani hemodialisis mengalami perubahan metabolisme, sehingga asupan zat gizi, termasuk lemak dan kalium, sangat berperan dalam menjaga kestabilan kondisi klinis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan lemak dan kalium dengan kadar serum kreatinin pada pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani hemodialisis di RSU Kaliwates Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Subjek penelitian adalah 45 pasien GGK yang menjalani hemodialisis, yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data asupan lemak dan kalium diperoleh melalui metode food recall 1x24 jam yang dilakukan sebanyak 2kali, sedangkan kadar serum kreatinin diambil dari catatan medis pasien. Analisis bivariat dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson untuk data berdistribusi normal dan uji Spearman’s rho untuk data yang tidak berdistribusi normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pasien memiliki asupan lemak yang tergolong kurang (48,9%) dan asupan kalium yang juga sebagian besar dalam kategori kurang (61%). Uji korelasi menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan lemak dengan kadar kreatinin (p = 0,837), namun terdapat hubungan bermakna antara asupan kalium dengan kadar kreatinin (p = 0,040). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah asupan lemak tidak berhubungan dengan kadar serum kreatinin, sedangkan asupan kalium berhubungan signifikan dengan kadar serum kreatinin pada pasien gagal ginjal kronik hemodialisis di RSU Kaliwates Jember. Patients with CKD undergoing hemodialysis experience metabolic alterations, making nutrient intake, including fat and potassium, essential in maintaining clinical stability. This study aimed to determine the relationship between dietary fat and potassium intake with serum creatinine levels in chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis at RSU Kaliwates Jember. This research employed an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 45 CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis were recruited using purposive sampling. Dietary intake of fat and potassium was assessed using the 1x24-hour food recall method, conducted twice., while serum creatinine levels were obtained from patients’ medical records. Bivariate analysis was conducted using Pearson’s correlation test for normally distributed data and Spearman’s rho test for non-normally distributed data. The results showed that most patients had inadequate fat intake (48.9%) and insufficient potassium intake (61%). Correlation analysis revealed no significant relationship between fat intake and serum creatinine levels (p = 0.837), whereas potassium intake was found to have a significant relationship with serum creatinine levels (p = 0.040). In conclusion, fat intake was not associated with serum creatinine levels, while potassium intake showed a significant association with serum creatinine levels among CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis at RSU Kaliwates Jember.
