Abstract

K3’s program for a company engaged in the industry is very important, especially in the field of fish canning industry that uses or semi-manual machine tools as a means of production in the fish canning PT. Maya Muncar, where K3 (Occupational Health and Safety) program aims to prevent accidents. PT. Muncar Maya is one of the main fish canning company that really - really maintain the safety of its employees by implementing K3 sistem in the production process, to the employees must following the rules that have been set by the company in usage full APD (safety tools) when entering the company. PT. Maya Muncar was established on September 22, 1978 in Bogor by notarial deed Esther Daniar Iskandar, S.H No. 12 In 1981, the company is active in production to take place in the Sampangan Hamlet, Kedungrejo Village, Muncar subdistrict - Banyuwangi. Based on the results of activities undertaken during Field Work Practice (PKL), it can be concluded about the Application Program K3 (Occupational Health and Safety) at PT. Maya Muncar been good and in accordance with the provisions set by the government, so as to reduce accidents in the work.
