Abstract

The problem of malnutrition in children under five is still a major nutritional problem that needs attention. Nutrition problems are directly caused by poor intake and high infectious diseases. This relates to inadequate environmental sanitation and health services, disruption of food access, inadequate maternal care and lack of maternal knowledge about how to provide good food for children under five. Therefore, there is a need for a study on the development of snake ladder educational games for mothers in an effort to increase knowledge about malnutrition. This research method uses the type of research development using Research and Development (R&D) with a design using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The number of samples in this study were 18 malnourished under-five mothers in the Posyandu of the Gladag Puskesmas Work Area taken in total sampling. The results of research on the development of snakes and ladders game for nutritional toddlers are less than the feasibility test by material experts at 85.8% and media experts at 93.3%, these results are a feasible category in field trials without revision. Then from the test level of knowledge of under-nutrition mothers under nutrition of 87.1%, the results are in the very good category and then from the product acceptance test of 90.8%, the results are in the very good category and very feasible to use.
