Abstract
Delays in the return of medical record file were often encountered during the implementation of medical record activities. Returns medical record file in RSU Kaliwates Jember not according to standards specified time by the Director General Yanmed 2008 about quality service performance standards that medical record file returns maximum is 2x24 hours after discharge. The purpose of this research was to analyze of factors affecting the delay of returns class II and III inpatient medical record file in RSU Kaliwates Jember. This research was using qualitative descriptive method, to obtain in-depth data about the delay return class II and III inpatient medical record file in RSU Kaliwates Jember. This research subjects were Chief of Medical Record and two officers that charge and returns medical record file. Researchers get four factors suspected affecting inpatient medical record file delay return in RSU Kaliwates Jember. Based on these results, we can conclude that the most influence factors on delaying return class II and III inpatient medical record file in RSU Kaliwates Jember is work motivation.
