Abstract
Every medical record implementation process will be done well if supported by adequate human resources in terms of the quality and quantity. Based on the result of observation at Mangli Health Center, from 6 documents 83,33 % documents do not have checklist form which is used to do completeness check and there is no desease code in the documents. That’s because Mangli Health Center only has one medical record staff who is not a medical record graduate so the staff feels overwhelmed to do some tasks including completeness check of medical record documents and coding. The purpose of this research is to analyze how is the workload in medical record unit at Mangli Health Center by using WISN method. This research uses qualitative method and the techniques of the data collection are interviews, observation, documentation, and brainstorming. The variables of this research are available working time, job description, workload standard, leeway standard, and staff needs in medical record unit. The result of this research is the workload of the medical record staff is supposed to be done by 4 staffs. The priority causes of workload problem are the lack of staffs and Job Description in Mangli Health Center. The solutions of the problems are addition of 3 staffs and making job description for medical record unit at mangli health center.
