Abstract

Elderly posyandu expected to provide facilities for elderly in obtaining basic health services, so the quality life of elderly people keep maintaining well. With the elderly posyandu, so the health of the elderly can be protected and monitored optimally. The purpose of this research is analyzing the accessibility in the use of elderly posyandu, analyzing elderly’s relations support in terms of the elderly posyandu and analyzing the nutritional status of elderly posyandu in the utilization of elderly posyandu. This research using the cross sectional the draft research in making measurements or observation at the same time (one time) between the independent variable levels knowledge, accessibility and support family dependent variable is the use of elderly posyandu. Research carried out in posyandu alamanda 30 and posyandu alamanda 44 kelurahan Gebang, kecamatan Patrang, kabupaten Jember by taking samples from 65 respondents. The sampling techniques used proportional random sampling dan data analysis using univariat analysis ( a frequency distribution ) and bivariat analysis ( Spearman correlation rank ). The research results show that there is a relations ( p = 0,000 p) between accessibility from the utilization of posyandu for the elderly in kelurahan gebang kecamatan patrang, there is a relations ( p = 0,001 ) between elderly family encouragement for the use elderly posyandu in kelurahan gebang kecamatan patrang and there is a relations ( p = 0,000 ) between the nutritional status of elderly from the utilization of elderly posyandu in kelurahan Gebang kecamatan Patrang.
