Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of aflatoksin B1 contaminated on feed by yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae additions on histology and function of layer liver. The samples used in this research were 80 Isa Brown strain chickens. The parameters were relative weight percentage, color of liver, SGOT value, liver histology. The data was analyzed by Completely Randomized Design consisted 4 treatments and 4 replications. The yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae levels were 0,5g/kg feed and 1g/kg feed with aflatoksin B1 contaminated of 29 ppb. The result of this research shows that giving of aflatoksin B1 feed contaminated of 29 ppb by yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae is non significant on liver relative weight, color of liver, SGOT value and liver histology.
