Abstract

One of the medical record service quality is the 100% completeness of medical record based on a minimum standard service. The objective of this research to find out variation of the Level knowledge and attitude nurses regarding the completeness recording medical records data in Mawar and Melati Room dr. Soebandi Regional Hospital. The results of preliminary research in medical record unit reveal that the value of incompleteness medical record is 73,73% with highest value of the note uncompleted medical amount in-patient treatment room is Mawar Room, while the opposite value of 2,53% is shown by the Melati Room. This research is classified as quantitative Analyze using Mann Whitney test. Based on testing results, it is found out that there are not any nurses in Mawar Room who are highly knowledgeable as compared to 45% of nurses in Melati Room who are highly knowledgeable. Regarding nurses attitude, it was found that only 10% of nurses at Mawar belongs to well-attitude group as compared to 55% of nurses at Melati Room with the similar attitude. The results of this research also reveal significant variation on the aspects of knowledge and attitude of nurses at Mawar and Melati Room dr. Soebandi Jember. It is highly suggested to join medical record training and seminars. Policy about punishment or reward is needed for more discipline in recording medical record.
