Abstract

Based on the results of observations made at the unit medical records, medical records clerk only average high school graduate, head of the medical records that have a history of recent education in the field of nursing, and lazy officers and putting off work. Based on these problems researchers will conduct research on the level of productivity in the hospital medical records. This study aims to measure productivity using the FTE (Full Time Equivalent) in Jember Hospital Clinic, and can determine the level of productivity. This study is a descriptive study. This study uses the unit of analysis is the entire medical record of activities in the unit. Primary data were collected through direct observation or observation in medical records, and for the secondary data obtained from the data that already exists in the medical record unit Jember Hospital Clinic. The results of the calculation of productivity that is obtained at the outpatient registration only reached 46%, inpatient enrollment reaches 40%, the value of productivity reached 26% coding clerk, the clerk assembling at 6%, and the productivity of workers filling value reaches 30%. Based on the results of the calculations show that the coding clerk coding clerk unsatisfactory performance, and low productivity value obtained. Advice can be given at the hospital to improve the level of productivity is to implement a system of punishment, the socialization of the job description, and training related to medical records.
