Abstract

The aim of the research to determine the effectiveness of addition garlic extract (GE) in ration to improve the feed conversion on broiler. As many as 80 day old chicks were used in this research on October to November 2016. The method of this research used the completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatment and five replications, such as P0(0%GE), P1(2%GE), P2(4%GE), P3(6%GE). The treatment was carried out for 15th day to 35th day. The parameters of this research are feed intake, body weight gain, and feed conversion ratio. The research showed that the addition of garlic is non significant (p>0.05) on feed intake, and significantly (p<0.01) on body weight gain and feed conversion ratio.
