Abstract

The aim of the research to determine the effect of mash, pellet and crumble feeding on egg weight, feed egg ratio, and feed cost. Used 180 layer chicken strain Isa Brown age 20 – 26 weeks. The method of this research used the completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatment specifically; P1 (mash), P2 (pellet), P3 (crumblet) which is repeated 6 times. The treatment was carried out for 20th weeks to 26th weeks. The parameters of this research are egg weight, feed egg ratio, and feed cost. The research showed that using mash, pellet and crumble is significanly (p<0.01) on egg weight and feed egg ratio, and significanly (p<0.05) on feed cost. feeding of crumble and pellet can increase egg weight and improve the conversion of layer chicken feed.
