Abstract

As the development of the android community, now many people have smartphones in their daily lives. In following the development of many applications on android that appears to complement the needs of the community, one of which is a video streaming application. So that people can enjoy the videos that have been provided as well as impressions of various television channels without having to look on television. App users simply use this application coupled with an internet connection, the general public has been able menikamati streaming feature that has been provided. In this application the Jogja Medianet is an agency that provide streaming server, so that videos are displayed based on the Jogja Medianet. In this application there is also a login feature, so users are encouraged to log in first in order to get the features of the application to be maximal. In order to login, users are required to register in advance so that the data is loaded can be stored on the database server. Therefore, in this report will be made an android-based streaming application so that the public can watch the activity of the channel as well as their favorite videos wherever and whenever.
