Abstract

Broilers can be an alternative protein diversification for the society. CV MavendraGilangBerkarya is one of one of the potentialbroiler farms in Jember Regency. This research aims to identify the internal and external factor, determine the effective alternative strategy of business development by analyze the strength, weakness, opportunity, threat and proper alternative recommendation for the company. This research was conducted by descriptive method with data collection by interviews and questionnaires. The result of this research shows that internal and eksternal matrix (IE) are in cell I position with total value of IFE is 3,43 and EFE is 3,63 that means the company is develop. The SWOT analysis results 5 alternative strategies, there are (1) Utilizing collaborative mentoring from partners on a regular basis, (2) Increasing trust in partners, (3) Improving management performance, (4) Strengthening business capital, (5) Control on production quality. The priority of business development strategy based on QSPM shows that the highest TAS value of 6,79 means that the company need to maintain trust with partner companies.
