Abstract

Anemia is the lack of Haemoglobin (Hb) level in the blood. Anemia is one of the most interference during pregnant, with the condition the Haemoglobin level under 11 gr/dl. Data of Riskesdas 2013 showed that prevalence of Anemia in pregnant mothers still high, 37,1%. A good nutritional status and the level of obedience to consumption tablet Fe is a factor that could prevent Anemia in pregnant mothers. This research is aimed to known the correlation between nutritional status and the level of obedience to consumption tablet Fe on the Anemia in pregnant mothers trimester III in Puskesmas Maron Kabupaten Probolinggo. This research using an analytical survey method with cross sectional design. This research was held in July to January 2017 with the amount of sample is 63 respondents pregnant mothers who were anemic in Puskesmas Maron Kabupaten Probolinggo. Data analyze using correlation test Spearman Rank. The result of this research showed there was a correlation between nutritional status to the incidence of Anemia (p = 0,026) and also there was a correlation between the level of obedience to consumption tablet Fe to the incidence of Anemia (p = 0,002). The conclusion of this research is there was a correlation between nutritional status and the level of obedience to consumption tablet Fe on the Anemia in pregnant mothers trimester III
