Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the efficiency of broiler feed fed with different protein contents. Analysis of the data used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The feed used is BR-1 with 21% protein content and mixed feed from KBR concentrates, corn, separator, oil, premix with protein content of 19, 18 and 16% as well as with metabolic energy of 2900-3100 kcal / kg. The results of this research showed a significant difference (P <0.05) on feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion differed significantly (P <0.01) on the efficiency of broiler feed. The conclusion of this study is the use of different proteins in feed affect the consumption of feed, body weight gain, feed conversion. The efficiency good feed based on high body weight gain is achieved by using feed with a starter protein content of 21%, grower 19%, and finisher 18%.
