Abstract

Breakfast is an important thing for someone to start activities 15-30% of nutritional needs that function as a source of energy and nutrients to be able to concentrate on learning or when going to activities. the use of comic as a learning media is very practical alternative for educators to make learning activities more effective and students are active in learning. The type that wed in this study is RnD or 1 (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects were 21 fifth grade students at Mi Nurul Huda Lumajang. Data analysis in this study is descriptive qualitative and quantitative using the Likert scale. The results of this study are analysis of student needs. by interviewing teachers and principals for need for material content. The results of the material validation test with presentations were 100% with very good categories and the results of the media validation test with presentation were 95% with very good categories. The results of the implementation and evaluation of students in the assessment of the trials conducted on class V students had an average overall score of 0.96 which categorized as ‘decent’ by student. The average change in knowledge of pre-test and post-test about healthy and nutritious breakfast of elementary school students is 65.24 and 80.48 Based on the guidelines for conversion of quantitative to qualitative data can be categorized as very good, as the conclusion, this comic can be used as a learning media.
