Abstract

My final project was Making a Bilingual Booklet of Lembaga Kursus dan Pendidikan “English for Brightness” EFB entitled “LEARNING ENGLISH THROUGH EXPERIENCE WITH ENGLISH FOR BRIGHTNESS” in bilingual version. This project was done based on data collecting method that the writer conducted in Lembaga Kursus dan Pendidikan “English for Brightness” EFB related with the content of the Booklet. This project focused on making an interesting booklet to promote this course to everyone who want to join English for Brightness. The existing promotion media in Lembaga Kursus dan Pendidikan “English for Brightness” EFB did not complete information. Based on the reason, the Writer decided to Making a Booklet in bilingual version and provided more detail information of English for Brightness. In making the product, the Writer adapted the process of making a Booklet from Sabetti (2011). The Writer also hired a designer and editor who was expert in designing a booklet for make a design, layout and bacground. The Writer made a booklet in bilingual version printed by A5 art paper, consist 20 pages. In conducting this final project, the designer used adobe photoshop CS6 and Corel Draw X3 to design the layout, background and the script position. The Writer applied her language skills that she got in English Study Program to translate this booklet from Indonesian to English and also got new knowledge and experiences in making a booklet. vii The Writer wanted to dedicate her knowledge to promote Lembaga Kursus dan Pendidikan “English for Brightness” EFB that was still do not have a complete promotional media and The Writer hoped this booklet can help English for Brightness as a media promotion for everyone who want to know more and join this course.
