Abstract
Underweight is one of main problem in Indonesia. Underweight is caused by low intake and not getting enough of energies and protein for long period. The prevention of underweight in toddler can lead by giving information from cadre of integrated service post by using media. One of the effective media is flip chart. This research aims to develop the flip chart media and to determine the appropriateness of flip chart media giving as a guidance of cadre in preventing malnutrition in toddler. The type of this research was Research and Development (R&D) with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Development) model. The subjects were 8 cadres. The data collection using primary data was taken by conducted interviews and questionnaires, whereas the secondary data was taken from preliminary studies. The result of this research shows that media validation is getting score of 92% (very good) material validation of 94% (very good) and acceptance for cadre of 91% (very decent). The conclusion is flip chart media has been made through all process so that it is decent to be an educational guidance for cadre.
