Abstract

Childhood is the which children are experiencing the process of growth which is very fast that require the supply of food and nutrition in large enough numbers and adequate .To get the kid growing with good as well can not be separated from the knowledge on the growth of mother and child development. Research objectives is analyze relations level knowledge mother with nutritional status of toddlers age 5-1 years in urban village jember kidul , and analyze relations education , work , and income with the status of nutrition toddlers age 5- 1 years in urban village jember kidul . Data collection method using a questionnaire . Respondents were 89 mother and children under five age 5-1 years selected using a technique quota sampling .Technique analysis the data used was descriptive statistics , correlation the spearman’s rank . Of the results of the analysis descriptive statistics 64,8 % of respondents knowledgeable less , 87,9 % of respondents who berprilaku often and 84,6 % toddlers are nutrition bony .The results of the analysis employing correlation the spearman’s rank show there is no a significant relation exists between their knowledge about nutrition mother with nutritional status , and there was no correlation also between behavior mother with nutritional status .
