Abstract
Elderly are people those aged 65 years or more. Elderly are the advanced stage of a life marked by a decrease in the body's ability to adapt to the environment. A decrease in the ability of various organs, functions and body systems from their physiology. Health care program is a vehicle for the elderly, which focuses on the promotion and preventive services, and also curative and rehabilitative. The one success of the Posyandu activities for the elderly due to the knowledge and support of Kader for the elderly to come to Posyandu. This study is aims to knowing the realtionship between Knowledge and Kader Support visiting the Elderly Posyandu at Kelurahan Patrang Kabupaten Jember This study is a research methods Analytical using cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in Posyandu districts Patrang Jember in October 2016. Data were collected by interview guided by a questionnaire to the respondent. Respondents are collected as many as 29 respondents. Relationship of knowledge who visited in elderly Posyandu obtained value of 0.024 ρ (ρ <0.05) showed a significant relationship between the two variables. Kader support relationships with the visited in elderly Posyandu obtained value of 0.011 ρ (ρ <0.05) showed a significant relationship between the two variables.
