Abstract

In the industrial world nowadays, a business competition is the one of the major risks that should be faced by all of business group corporation in various fields. Each of these business units category are required to get prepare and develop a strategy by upgrading the quality resources of the company. Therefore it requires an effective measurement instrument to measure a company performance, to find out how far the strategies and targets that have been determined can be achieved. This research was conducted at Gapoktan Al-Barokah Bondowoso. The purpose of this study was to measure the activity performance of Gapoktan Al-Barokah Bondowoso and determine a Gapoktan Al-Barokah strategical plan based on four perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard model. The perspective are Financial Perspective, Customer Perspective, Internal-Business-Process Perspective, and The Learning and Growth Perspective. This research uses a descriptive method. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Procedure in collecting data using questionnaires, interviews, documentation and literature. Based on the results of the company's environmental analysis using the SWOT method, it can be concluded that the company's position is in quadrant 1 which supports an aggressive growth policy strategy. Where in this case the business unit is in a favorable position so the company can take an advantages of the resources and opportunities.The strategy that can be done by utilizing the long-term opportunities of Gapoktan by diversifying the products or markets. The overall performance assessment based on four perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard, the company has a very healthy condition with category A with total value of 75.18%.
