Abstract
Solar stove with fresnel lens concentrator is a solar cooker with a working principle of solar thermal concentrator used to capture solar radiation and in this case, direct radiation from the sun is focused into heat for various applications. The main objective of the present study is used fresnel lens that has the catch 0,29 m x 0.29 m thickness of 0.03 m, and focal length 0.12 m. The objective of this research is to improve the performance of solar stove by using fresnel lens concentrator. The experimental results show that the average of direct solar radiation is 782 W / m2 (at 10:00 to 14:00 o'clock). Meanwhile, the test using angle variation of 30o, 45o, and 60o.Test results with 45o angle has the highest average water temperature value of 44,9 oC with the highest average efficiency value of 53,9%.
