Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of employment status on employee performance and differences in the performance of production employees based on employment status at PTPN XII Sumber Tengah Jember. The analysis used in this research is the classical assumption test (normality test, heteroscedasticity test, linearity test), simple linear regression analysis, determination coefficient test, t test and chi square test. The results showed that the variable of temporary daily employee employment status (X1) and permanent employee employment status (X2) partially had a significant effect on performance (Y). The variable that has a dominant influence on performance (Y) is the temporary daily employee employment status (X1). The performance between casual daily employees and permanent employees does not make any difference.
