Abstract

Animal feed concentrate is a mixed feed ingredient processed to be given to livestock and serves as a supplementary feed in addition to grass. The Feed Processing Plant is located in Tutur Village, Tutur District, Pasuruan Regency, East Java. The study aims to analyze quality control, implement control charts and process capabilities, and identify the factors that influence the quality control carried out by the company. The method used is the Statistical Process Control (SPC) method with statistical instruments including Pareto diagrams, p control charts, process capabilities, and Ishikawa diagrams. Based on the results of quality control, it was found that the highest defect rate was in the torn or damaged bag variable with a percentage of 45%. The results of the control chart implementation show that the variables of unmixed materials and material sedimentation in the machine are still within the control limits, while torn and damaged bags are already on the upper control limit (UCL) line, which means that the defects are under control. The results of the process capability calculation on the unmixed material variable are 0.979, on the material sedimentation variable in the machine is 0.983, and on the torn or damaged bag variable is 0.969. There are several factors that affect product quality, namely human factors, machine factors, material factors, method factors, and measurement factors.
