Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving edamame soybean seed filtrate in drinking water as a vitachick substitute on the performance of broilers. The material used in the study was 72 broiler DOC. The cage used is open house and is blocked using bamboo partitions as many as 36 partitions. The method used in this study used Complete Randomized Design (RAL). The treatment in this study was 3 treatments with 12 repetitions and each repetition consisted of 2 heads. The treatment in the study was P1 (drinking water / control), P2 (drinking water + vitachick), P3 (drinking water + 5% filtrate). Parameters observed include ration consumption, drinking water consumption, weight gain, feed conversion ratio. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of edamame seed filtrate in drinking water on the performance of broilers of the finisher period has a real effect (P<0.05) on the performance of broilers.
