Abstract
Measurement alcohol content in bioethanol purification process is a final process that requires a much sample and long measurement time. In purification bioethanol laboratory-scale the process result is not much. Therefore difficult to measure the alcohol content of its quickly and accurately. With these constraint detection content of alcohol from bioethanol purification process do using gas sensor. There are two types of alcohol sensors that be used, TGS 2620 sensor and MQ3 sensor. This research did a comparison of the two types of sensors are based on accuracy and reliability. In the alcohol sensor resistance value is influenced by alcohol content evaporates in the air. In the reading levels of bioethanol is done in accordance with the timing of sensing one time purification process bioethanol about 2 hours. The result depant on humadity and room temperature.
