Abstract

The lack of application on good nutritional knowledge gives rise to the emergence of adolescent nutrition problems in Indonesia. The effort taken to cope with the current nutrition issues is implementing a Nutrition Awareness Family Education (KADARZI) program. It is the ability of a family to identify, prevent, and overcome nutrition issues encountered by each family member. The education can be conducted using the media, but the existing health promotion media do not encompass the KADARZI material yet. The research objective was to drafting KADARZI educational information media for adolescents. The type of this research applied a Research and Development (R&D) design with the development model of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE). This research used the subject of students of SMA Negeri 4 Jember. The data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The analysis result of the media requirements needed was poster media. The results of the material expert validation for the nutritional supplement poster received a score of 92%, 82% for various food consumption posters, and 80% for the weighing poster. The results of the media expert’s validation for the nutritional supplement poster received a score of 98%, 98% for various food consumption posters, and 96% for the weighing poster. According to the results of the acceptance test, the nutritional supplement poster received a score of 82.03%, 81.74% for various food consumption posters, and 82.00% for the weighing poster. The conclusion based on the results of the validation of material and media experts is that the poster media is proper to use. Whereas the results of the students’ acceptance test indicate that the nutritional supplement posters, various food consumption posters, and weighing posters are acepted proper to use at SMA Negeri 4 Jember.
