Abstract
Nurture is the factors that have effect toward grow of under 5 year old children. That aged 1-5 year old children (balita) is period in which the child is still need food and nutrition supplies in sufficient quantities. The goal of research is to analyze the relationship between mother's knowledge and the pattern of nutritional to the nutritional care to nutritional status of children before and after counseling in Panti, Jember. Research’s instrument that used was kueisioner. Respondents are 23 mothers and their childrends 24-59 months old. Results of analysis using Spearman's Ranks showed no reletionship between mother's knowledge with nutritional status of children (p = 0.806). There is a relationship feeding practices with nutritional status of children (p = 0.013). No relationship hygiene and environmental sanitation practices with nutritional status of children (p = 0.396). Their no reletionship between childs care practice relationship in sickness with nutritional status of children (p = 0.819). Conclusion of this research is the variables related to the nutritional status of children is the practice of feeding.
