Abstract
Anemia often resultantly happens deficiency of zink to an expectant mother due to the increase the need twice zink. One of ways is to do PMT for expectant mother. Taro is a kind of plants produced high carbohydrate, produced rich amilosa starch which is breakable by sugar in the human spittle (20-25%) and it takes important role. Soybean contains as many as 80 mg/100g and contains the highest zink among other beans. Soybean powder is one of bunched ingredients which can increase bunch energy to water of ingredient. The both food formulation is used as starting to make cookies. Cookies are chosen because of long lasting and practical. This research is purposed to analyze the nutrition in the cookies made from taro powder and soybean powder as PMT for expectant mother. The estimated trial used is random complete plan. Determination of formula in this research is 8 samples in three times. The comparison of taro and soybean powder in making cookies influences the nutrition and organoleptical. The higher the portion of soybean powder is, the higher Fe can be obtained. Conversely, the lower the portion of soybean powder is, the lower Fe can be obtained. Analytical chemistry and organoleptical influences significantly. The best treatment goes on A7 treatment with formulation 55% taro powder + 45 % soybean powder.
