Abstract
Indonesia has several subsectors in the food industry, one of which is the bakery industry, which has experienced significant growth. Teaching Factory (Tefa) Bakery & Coffee Politeknik Negeri Jember is a bakery industry operating under the management of Politeknik Negeri Jember. The objectives of this study were: (1) to determine the partial effect of product quality, price, brand image, and promotion on the purchasing decision of “SIP” Bread products Politeknik Negeri Jember; and (2) to determine the simultaneous effect of product quality, price, brand image, and promotion on the purchasing decision of “SIP” Bread products Politeknik Negeri Jember.The research method used was a survey. The population of this study consisted of 50 consumers of “SIP” Bread Politeknik Negeri Jember. The results showed that: (1) Partial regression testing indicated that: (a) the variables of Product Quality (X1), Price (X2), and Brand Image (X3) had no significant partial effect on Purchasing Decision (Y); (b) the Promotion variable (X4) had a significant partial effect on Purchasing Decision (Y). (2) Simultaneous regression testing showed that the variables of Product Quality (X1), Price (X2), Brand Image (X3), and Promotion (X4) simultaneously had a significant effect on Purchasing Decision (Y)
