Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the comparison of performance between the Standard CDI and 2 CDI Racing and to know the effect of the comparison of the Standard CDI and 2 CDI racing on fuel consumption. The method used in this study is to use an experimental method performed on a 110 cc Vega R motorcycle. Data from the results of research on torque, power, and fuel consumption are analyzed and observed in tabular and graphical form to determine their effects and differences. This research uses a Dynamometer to determine torque and power, while for research on fuel consumption using a stopwatch, measuring cup and premium fuel. The results showed that the treatment with different variations of the standard CDI and 2 CDI Racing on torque, power and fuel consumption. The results showed that the results of the torque with the treatment of 1 Standard CDI and 2 Racing CDI on the 110 cc Vega R Standard engine that the average value is more stable using the Standard CDI with an average value of 11.12 (Nm), while the highest power on the Vega 110cc Standard R is using the Standard CDI with an average value of 10.06 (kW). And the time from the test results of fuel consumption using 50 ml of premium fuel with a speed of 4500 RPM spent the longest time using the CDI Racing BRT with a time of 03.11 minutes.
