Abstract

Problem of obesity experienced in societies, between kids, childrens, students, adults, and older people. Childrend aged 3-5 year are kids that study in elementary school. Childrens in this aged realy needs for parent’s care, especially their mom. Care pattern and knowledgement of their parent made some effect for their nutrition. Purposes of this research are to analyze correlation between knowledgement of moms about nutrient and care pattern to obesity children that aged 3-5 years in Kaliwates, Jember. Collecting method of this research is used questioner to 80 resonances as moms and childrens aged 3-5 years that experienced abesity. Based onanalysistechnic are used descriptive statistic and Spearman’s Rank correlation. Result of analyzing descriptive correlation are 62,5 % aged of despondences between 25-25 years old, 41,3% education level of despondences was done senior high school, 86,3% work of despondences are house wife, 43,8% childrens aged that experienced obesity 5 years old, 57,5% male childrens that experienced obesity, 61,3% of resonances has good knowledge, 53,8% of respondeces has good care pattern of their parent. Conclusion results of this research are there is no correlation between mom knowledgement about nutrition and obesity children but for the mom care pattern and obesity of childrens, there have significant correlation.
