Abstract

UPT Jember State Polytechnic Library has SLIMS software which is in chargeof recording related flow of books in and out, namely borrowing and returningbooks. The use of SLIMS at the UPT of the Jember State Polytechnic Library haslong been implemented but has never been analyzed before. In order to knowthelevel of suitability and satisfaction with the needs of users on the SLIMS software, it is necessary to measure the quality of the software with the aimof testingthesoftware. Research conducted on the SLIMS software applies the ISO9126method. Measurements are carried out using 6 characteristics, namelyfunctionality, reliability, usability, ef iciency, maintainability, portability. Fromthis study, the results of the analysis of the quality of the SLIMS software at theUPT of the Jember State Polytechnic Library are in the form of recommendationsfor improvement and can find out the characteristics that need to be developedinorder to increase the quality of the SLIMS software at the Jember StatePolytechnic Library
