Abstract
PTPN XII Kebun Mumbul is one of the state-owned farm company which produce RSS (Ribbed Smoked Sheet) latex as a main product which has 3 ton maximum production capacity. To keep the quality of the product stay controlled, then its need to do a quality control of the finished product. The purpose of this research are 1) Learned of the quality control of the RSS (Ribbed Smoked Sheet) product which are produced by PTPN XII Kebun Mumbul. 2) Analyzing DPMO (Defect per Million Opportunity) score and sigma level at RSS (Ribbed Smoked Sheet) production at PTPN XII Kebun Mumbul. 3) Analyzing affecting factor of RSS (Ribbed Smoked Sheet) product quality at PTPN XII Kebun Mumbul. Data processing of this research are performed with Six Sigma method with applying DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) stages. Analyzing data’s result of this research showed that the production of RSS stay within the upper control line and below control line. DPMO score obtained is 150.750 means that one million of RSS (Ribbed Smoked Sheet) finished product there are 150.750 probabilities of defect product. Sigma score obtained is 2,53 it means that PTPN XII Kebun Mumbul is accordance with Indonesian industries standard which are within 2 sigma level.
