Abstract

The implementation of Industrial Internship is housed in the AHSTI factory (Asian Hybrid Seed Technologies Indonesia), which is located at Jl. No. Monginsidi Wolter. 26 Rowo Indah Village, District Ajung, Jember. The timing of the Industrial Internship activities began on 3 March 2014 until May 31, 2014 (512 hours). The title of Industrial Internship discussed about the Effect of grading process / gravity (sifting) hybrid to the corn seed quality at AHSTI factory Jember, where the method used is to use observation and interviews with several people or operators who are considered competent in mastering quality hybrid corn seeds and the grading machine. The results of this Industrial Internship associated with the title taken are factors that affect the quality of corn on the gravity machine work are: (a) Engine condition is well. (b) Checking engine by grading operator. (c) Doing the correct procedure mechanism of grading mechine. Keywords: grading process (sifting)
