Abstract

Association of Farmer Group Makmur Jaya is located at Maesan Village, Maesan District, Bondowoso Regency. This Association of Farmer Group is engaged in cultivating food crops, horticulture and plantations as well as carrying out the PUAP fund mandate starting in 2011. In its development, Association of Farmer Group Makmur Jaya has obstacles, including the not yet compiled Gapoktan profile and not yet compiling Standart Operating Procedure (SOP) for balanced fertilization for lowland rice plants. From these problems it can be concluded that there is a lack of completeness of group administration, especially in profiling and there is no reference for farmers in implementing balanced fertilization in lowland rice plants. The method approach in resolving this problem is to formulate a Association of Farmer Group profile which will then be submitted to the head of Association of Farmer Group Makmur Jaya as well as field officers. The results obtained from the practice of learning and community empowerment in Association of Farmer Group Makmur Jaya are the compilation of the profile of Association of Farmer Group Makmur Jaya, Maesan Village, Maesan District, Bondowoso Regency and the compilation of SOP for balanced fertilization of rice fields. The method approach in solving this problem is to formulate a Gapoktan profile which will then be submitted to the Chairman of Association of Farmer Group Makmur Jaya and also field officers. The results obtained from the Learning Practice and Community Empowerment activities at the Makmur Jaya Gapoktan, Maesan Village, Maesan District, is the compilation of the Makmur Jaya Association of Farmer Group Profile in Maesan Village, Maesan District, which is an overall description or identity that is contained in the Association of Farmer Group as well as the SOP of Balanced Fertilization for Rice Paddy Plants which will be used as a reference in cultivating lowland rice plants.
