Final Project, English Study Program, Language, Communication and Tourism Department, State Polytechnic of Jember. The Supervisors : 1. Choliatuszuhro, S.Pd., M.Pd. 2. Agus Setia Budi, S.Pd., M.Pd. Our Final Project is to design a Tenses Pocket Book for Basic Learners. This project focused on designing a tenses pocket book for basic learners (people who just started knowing about basic lessons of language). This book created specifically for basic learners to assist them in their learning process to master tenses and its components. The basic reason why we decided to conduct this product as our Final Project was based on our consideration throughout the collecting data from some books used in teaching – learning process and our interview data that we take randomly for some students from different departments at State Polytechnic of Jember. Designed minimalist, having a good material and interesting appeareance are the strength of tour book that can facilitate the leraners to understand tenses. In designing a tenses pocket book for basic learners, we arranged the material by ourselves based on trustful references. We brought about a tenses pocket book with simple material of sixteen tenses completed with its clear explanations and examples, Regular and Irregular verb, and common expression. We do hope that this book will be beneficial for the learners, especially for the basic learners as our target. Keywords: Designing a Tenses Pocket Book, Basic Learners
