Abstract

UD. Mutiara Rasa is one of the industries that produces suwar-suwir which is located on Cendrawasih 60 Pancakarya Street, Ajung District, Jember Regency. The research is an exploratory descriptive research which aims to describe the information in accordance with the way the variables are studied. The method used in this study is an expert system method, which is a problem solving method by conducting interviews with several experts who are experts in their fields. The results of the interviews were modeled with the help of Powersim Software. The results of this study are; a) factors that can affect the production of suwar-suwir in UD. Mutiara Rasa includes raw material sub-system, production sub-system, and profit sub-system; b) based on the results of modeling the dynamic system of shredded production, which resulted in a moderate scenario, an optimistic scenario, and a pessimistic scenario. In the moderate and optimistic scenario, the production of suwar suwir and the profit earned by the company each month increased, in contrast to the pessimistic scenario, there was an increase in the total cost incurred and a decrease in the sales of the suwar suwir.
