Abstract

Cases of anemia in pregnant women can cause death during pregnancy. Based on the results of observations and interviews at the Paiton Health Center, information was obtained that anemia was included in the top 10 diseases at the Paiton Health Center in 2019 with 228 cases of indicated pregnant women. The type of research is Research and Development. The purpose of this study is to design an expert system to determine suspect anemia in pregnant women at the Paiton Public Health Center, Probolinggo Regency, based on the web. Waterfall method with certainty factor calculation. The results of the study are that there are 15 symptom data, the design used is by using the system Flowchart design, DFD Level 0, DFD Level 1, ERD, and database design, coding the system using the php language and mysql database, and the discussion of the system is carried out by brainstorming with the results the officers agree with the existence of an expert system to determine the suspect of anemia because it helps overcome complaints of anemia in pregnant women. The output produced is the application of an expert system to determine the suspect of anemia in pregnant women. The resulting outcome is in the form of the determination of pregnant women with suspected anemia with a percent value.Suggestions that the patient is suspected of being anemic, pregnant women take follow-up actions in the form of Hb checks and consult directly with doctors or midwives and for further researchers, it is necessary to add a nutritional menu for pregnant women and create an expert system for suspect anemia based on android.
