Abstract

Early marriage among adolescents requires effective health promotion. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of short films and e-booklets on adolescents' knowledge and attitudes toward early marriage prevention. This experimental quantitative study was conducted among adolescents at MHI Bangsalsari Vocational High School. The sample was divided into two intervention groups: the short film group and the e-booklet group. Data were collected via questionnaires using pre-test and post-test. Both media were effective in increasing knowledge and shaping positive attitudes regarding early marriage prevention. However, there was a significant difference in effectiveness between short films and e-booklets in influencing respondents' understanding. Short films and e-booklets are viable health education media. These findings serve as a reference for schools and health institutions to optimize interactive health promotion tools to reduce early marriage rates.
