Abstract

Electric energy is the type of final energy that is most widely used in life in the current era. Energy conservation policies are one of the most rational efforts to reduce national energy consumption in a sustainable manner. The Jember District Court Class 1A uses electricity from PLN with type P-1, which is a public service tariff. This study aims to analyze the energy usage profile. The method used in this research is quantitative with descriptive statistical analysis using a worst-case condition approach, by processing primary data and secondary data with a worst- case assumption approach. Primary data consist of data and information on active power, light intensity (Lux), air temperature data (°C), and the area of each room in the entire building (m²).The results of this study show that the Jember District Court Class 1A consumes electricity of 34,286.85 kWh per month with a building area of 2,103.99 m², and has an Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) of 195.55 kWh/m² per year or approximately 16.29 kWh/m² per month. Being in the "fairly efficient" category indicates that there is still a large potential for energy waste.
