Abstract

Mung bean (Vigna radiata L) is a type of secondary crop and a short-lived plant that is ± 60 days in the form of a bush/shrub. This study aims to determine the most appropriate Gibberellin concentration and NPK Fertilizer dosage in optimizing the production and quality of Mung bean seeds (Vigna radiata L) Stock Seed Class. This study was conducted in July-October 2025 at the Innovation Garden Land, Jember State Polytechnic, Jalan Mastrip PO BOX 164, Jember, East Java. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RAKF) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is Gibberellin: concentration of 50 ppm (G1), concentration of 75 ppm (G2), concentration of 100 ppm (G3). The second factor is the NPK Fertilizer Dose 16-16-16: 250 kg/ha (P1), 350 kg/ha (P2), 400 kg/ha (P3). The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA and further DMRT 5% (Duncan Multiple Range Test). The results showed that the treatment of Gibberellin G1 concentration (50 ppm concentration) gave the best results on the parameters of flowering age 34.22 HST, seed weight per plot 209.08 g, seed production per ha 118.30 kg/ha. The treatment of NPK P3 fertilizer dose (400 kg/ha dose) gave the best average results on the parameter of seed weight per planting 14.01 g. The interaction of Gibberellin concentration and NPK fertilizer dose showed the best results G1P1 (50 ppm concentration/NPK fertilizer dose 250 kg/ha) on the parameter of seed weight 1000 grains 19.25 g, no significant difference (ns) on the parameter of the number of pods per planting and the parameter of seed quality test
