Abstract

This study aims to analyze the condition of tourism facilities and infrastructure at Pura Mangkunegaran, Surakarta, identify the constraints in their management, and evaluate their compliance with tourism technical standards and the principles of cultural heritage conservation. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and literature review. The research informants consisted of the site management, tour guides, and visitors. The findings indicate that the tourism facilities and infrastructure at Pura Mangkunegaran generally support cultural tourism activities through the provision of basic facilities and guided tour services. However, several limitations remain, particularly regarding accessibility for persons with disabilities, the availability of informational signage, and visitor comfort during certain periods. The management of tourism facilities is carried out while adhering to cultural heritage conservation principles through the implementation of zoning, restricted access to specific areas, and a guided tour system. Overall, the existing tourism facilities and infrastructure are considered to be reasonably aligned with the needs of cultural tourism and the principles of cultural heritage conservation, although several improvements are still needed to enhance the quality of tourism services.
