Abstract
Oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) is one of the superior plantation commodities in Indonesia, oil palm plantations have a very important role in the agricultural sector, namely to build the country. One of the factors that can affect oil palm production is the type of soil and the quality of seedlings. The addition of manure can be an alternative to the planting medium used in oil palm nurseries which can help supply nutrient needs and improve soil structure and physicality. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the type of organic fertilizer of livestock manure that is most effectively applied as a planting medium in pre-nursery oil palm seedlings. The methodology used was a Non-Factorial Group Random Design (RAK) with 4 treatments, namely P0 (Control), P1 (Cow Manducing), P2 (Goat Manducing), P3 (Chicken Manure). The data analysis used is Analysis of Variance with a level of 5%, if there is a significant difference, it is further tested using BNT with a level of 5%. The observed parameters were normal sprouting, seedling height, stem diameter, number of fronds, root length, wet weight, dry weight. The results of this study show that the type of manure does not show noticeable differences in all observation parameters except for wet weight parameters. The addition of goat manure organic fertilizer tends to be better on all observation parameters
