Abstract

This study analyzes the security of digital signatures, particularly the Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA), in verifying the authenticity of cryptocurrency project whitepapers, addressing the increasing prevalence of fraud involving forged documents. Using a qualitative descriptive case study methodology that includes literature review, document analysis, and observation of ECDSA implementation, this research aims to identify the working mechanism, security risks, and to develop mitigation strategies as well as integration protocols of ECDSA within blockchain systems. The findings are expected to enhance transparency and trust within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
