Abstract
Nginx is a Web Server, which is a service that provides access services to clients via HTTP or HTTPS communication protocols. but at the same time Nginx can also function as a Reverse Proxy by connecting the client/host with the server where in this study, researchers used two implementations, namely the Nginx implementation on the host and on Docker to compare which one is more effective. not only that, the researcher will implement the method of Load Balance. Load Balance itself is a method for request management on the server with several methods including: Round Robin, Round Robin Weighted, Least Connection, Generic Hash, Random and Ip Hash. These methods will be analyzed to see which one has the best performance. The performance measurement uses the Jmeter application to analyze the error percentage, throughput and response time from the server. This will provide comparison parameters for each method. so that it will produce a server that has the maximum performance according to the case study in this research.
