Abstract
Kali Maron Micro Hydro Power (MHP) is an alternative energy by utilizing the potential energy of Kali Maron river flow. MHP located in Seloliman Trawas Mojokerto Village has been operating since 1994 with a power plan that can be raised around 25 kVA. The small capacity of power that can be raised is influenced by several factors such as water discharge and component specifications. A small discharge of water will produce a small value of flight power, so it needs supporting factors such as components with good specifications in order for high-value flight power. Water flow discharge of MHP Kali Maron in the dry season ranges from 200 l/s only able to generate power ranging from 10 kW to 12 kW, and in the rainy season with a discharge of 300 l/s is able to generate power ranging from 15 kW to 17 kW. Some components of Kali Maron MHP that are experiencing constraints such as turbines whose efficiency decreases by up to 60% and also rapid pipes that have passed the operating period that must be changed components so that the performance of MHP does not decrease. Small amounts of power are not comparable to large amounts of consumers will affect the distribution of tissues to consumers. Keywords : Power, discharge, performance, components, MHP
