Abstract

Supply of information about room availability in Balung General Hospital is done manually, this makes a problem such as a patient rejection due to unavailability of a treatment room. Process of the daily cencusses room is done manually without the help of an information system, which makes a delaying problem of reporting cencusses data. The purpose of this research is to design an information system in Balung General Hospital which is able to integrate inpatient registration, availability of treatments room and daily censuses with its report needed. This system design uses a prototype method which includes identifying requirements, building and compacting the prototype with the user needs, building the system and compacting it with the user needs. The technique to collect information uses observation, an interview and brainstorming methods. The result of this research is a system information that integrates inpatient registration, information of availability of treatment room and daily censuses with its report needed.
